WOODMEAD - GOLF

Woodmead, which has received a five star rating for its overall golfing experience, is home to two superb golf courses: Woodmead (ranked 9) and the newly rebuilt Rocklands.
The courses are open every other day, except Christmas and New Year.
Ladies Golf
Our Ladies section have regular Wednesday golf on
one course hosting various competitions. Once per month they have a
Ladies Invitation whereby our members host ladies from surrounding clubs
at member rates.
Our beginner/ higher handicap ladies ( Bunnies) play
on Fridays and are guided by the Bunny Mum on duty.
New golfing ladies are very welcome. Ladies are encouraged
to play any day, however unfortunately Saturday Afternoon is reserved
for the Men's Competition.
Tee off times are: Morning 7am -8 28am and afternoon
11-28 am - 1pm.
(Winter) Summer times are: 7am - 8-36 am Morning
and Afternoon 11-36 - 1-30 pm. Booking is recommended.
Golf Bookings
Bookings are facilitated in the PRO-SHOP and are
available one week in advance. Weekend bookings are as follows. Saturday
and Sunday mornings by telephone from 9am -walk in bookings from 10am.
Saturday and Sunday afternoon bookings by telephone from 2pm and walk-ins
from 3pm.

The Golf Academy
The Golf Academy is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 06:30 to 18:00. Range balls are
available from the Pro Shop on Mondays, for use at the Driving Range

Corporate Golf Days
Woodmead is recognised among the most prestigious venues for corporate golf days. It applies the accepted rules of golf etiquette and dress codes.
Golf Playing Card
Members may purchase a Golf Playing Card. The details of which may be obtained from the Club Manager or Golf Director at Woodmead.
Golfers’ Diary
The Club provides handicapped members with a golfers’ diary that runs for a calendar year, which lists competitions, names and telephone numbers of all Club golfers.
The PRO Shop
The Pro Shop is well stocked with a wide range of soft goods, clothing and golfing hardware, and meets all golfing requirements, from green fees and caddy registration to golf club and golf cart hire.
The shop sends a weekly e-mail to members detailing topical golf matters such as information on SA professional golfers, rules, special offers available to members and the previous weeks competition results.
