CLUB HOURS
Open all year round from 07h00 to 23h00 daily.
ACCOMMODATION
18 Bedrooms en-suite, beautifully appointed with an "old world"
charm. Each bedroom has a bath or a shower en-suite.
RESTAURANTS
There is a range of restaurants catering for formal and informal dining,
serving all meals daily. These eating facilities are both inside and
outside offering cuisine to suit all tastes.
PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
11 function rooms catering for 10 to 250
Specialising in conferences, business lunches and social occasions.
BARS & LOUNGES
There are 2 bars - 1 lounge and a garden patio available.
NOTE - There are restrictions on children usage
in certain areas.
RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
Billiards, Bird Club, Card Room, Sauna, Steam Room and Bridge.
PARKING FACILITIES
Ample secure open air parking 24 hours a day with security guards
patrolling at all times.
DRESS CODE
Dress is smart casual throughout the club house at all times.
Sports dress code is appropriate to the game being played. Management
discretion will be excercised.
PICNIC BASKETS
What about a picnic on a Sunday? Imagine spending
a Sunday in the beautiful gardens of Auckland Park enjoying smoked salmon
and champagne seated on a blanket with your family on the rolling lawns.
Phone us to order your picnic fare, menus on request, which are priced
accordingly. It is very important to book your picnic basket well ahead
of time. Please phone reception.
SPORTING FACILITIES
A variety of sports facilities are available to members.
Squash (13 courts including 4 doubles courts), Tennis (9 courts), Cricket
Field, Bowls (2 rinks), Croquet Lawn (3 lawns and 1 corporate lawn),
Swimming Pool, Gym, Snooker Room.
FITNESS
In our aerobics section, under the guidance
of Elsa Storm we offer a range of aerobic classes to suit every fitness
level - from high impact to beginners.
Our gym, with up to date fitness equipment can compete
with any health club. We also offer spinning classes.
Thomas Witt is on hand to assist with fitness tips,
muscle building advice and programmes for maintaining good health eg.
Pilates.
SUB-SECTIONS
The sub-sections are an active part of Club
life. Although some sections run quite
independently and only require assistance with communications and the
occasional larger functions, we remain in close contact with all sections
and are always ready to assist.
At present we have the following sub-sections: Wine
Society, Bird Club, Endangered Wildlife Trust, Café Society (the
Club’s musical section), Ladies Luncheon Club, Bridge and Philatelic
Society, Travel Club, Power Business Breakfasts, Breakfast Club.
The Marketing Department encourages and promotes celebrations
of festive occasions, such as Halloween, Valentine’s
Day, Christmas and New Year.
